Halifax/Hybrid working
£40K - £50K plus benefits
My client, who are a large financial services organistaion, listed in the Top 100 Companies to work for in the UK, are looking for a Data Scientist to join their Digital Data Science team.
My client is focused on unlocking the vast value in their data and have a goal of augmenting every part of their business with assured artificial intelligence (AI) products.
The Data Scientist will have access to extensive stores of disparate data and the freedom to use creativity to build trusted, enterprise grade AI products that make a real difference to customers.
Responsibilities
- Planning, overseeing and delivering the endtoend productionisation and deployment of machine learning models.
- Owning and steering a combination of projects and remits within the team simultaneously.
- Working alongside stakeholders, at all levels within the organisation, to gain domain knowledge to deliver successful products into production.
- The sustainability of the AI products you build in production.
Skills and experience
- A demonstrated capability of using AI responsibly and ethically in a commercial environment, preferably in financial services.
- A passion to use AI for good and diligence in using the right tool for the right problem.
- A desire to shape our AI agenda and help instil it into our culture.
- Experience in developing and deploying AI products in a commercial environment.
- Experience with Python and/or R notebook computing.
- Experience in leading the development of machine learning models, across the entire lifecycle, and deploying them into production.
- Previous experience of leading stakeholder discussions, conducting experiments and deploying machine learning models into production.
- Participation in and benefitting from the community of data scientists around them to support the growth and upskilling of the wider team.
