Priory Hospital Middleton St George
With a CQC rating of 'Good' (July 2021) the Priory Hospital Middleton St George is located in extensive grounds close to Darlington, County Durham 40 minutes from the coast, 30 minutes from the Yorkshire Dales and within easy reach of the cities of Durham and Newcastle-upon-Tyne.
The seven wards of the hospital provide individualised treatment and care for people with mental health needs, including adults who present with complex and challenging behaviours. Staff wellbeing and recognition is a priority with various events held throughout the year to thank staff for their contribution and commitment to the hospital. The hospital's grounds are also used for various events such as sports days and barbeques for patients, carers and colleagues.
As well as free parking on site, free meals on shift, and access to an on-site gym, there is a staff lounge with excellent facilities for breaks
