Part time packer (position immediately available)

Salary:
£12.00 per hour

Hours:
hours a week - days/hours to be agreed (no weekends)

Location:
Horsted Keynes, West Sussex (Full uk driving licence required)

Studio Ore is a fast growing manufacturer of high quality, hand finished bathroom taps and fittings based in Sussex. We pride ourselves on using the highest quality materials and techniques to produce beautiful hand finished products in brass which we sell internationally.


This is a role in a small but growing business, it is based at our workshop in Sussex where we have a small but friendly team (along with 3 friendly dogs).

We are a growing small business and it is important that you have a proactive 'hands on' approach and be willing to take on a variation of tasks.


This part time role might suit someone who needs work around childcare or looking to supplement income in retirement or indeed someone who needs income to support another project or studies.


Your duties shall include:

  • Picking and packing orders and preparing for shipment
  • Light assembly duties
  • Unloading pallets of incoming goods and ensuring items are correctly restocked in warehouse
  • Assist with the quality check of all incoming goods and ensure any issues are reported
  • Assist in ensuring a clean, orderly and safe working environment is maintained.
  • Organised with attention to detail
  • Adaptable to various roles within the warehouse/workshop environment
  • Ability to work within a small flexible team
  • Ability to self manage
  • Some heavy lifting required (up to 25kg)
Please note that our workshop is in a rural location so you must have your own transport. It is not accessible via public transport. As mentioned we have 3 dogs on site.
