TRANSPORT PLANNER

NIGHT SHIFT

IMMEDIATE START

Siamo Recruitment is currently looking for Transport Planners to work for us at one of prestigious clients in CRICK, NN6.

Shifts:
21:30PM-6:00AM

Salary:

£12.13

Key responsibilities:
Responsible for the global inbound shipping and transportation activities covering road, sea and air
Ensure timely and unhindered movement of goods, resolution of exceptions, damage, late or mis-delivery and resolution/recovery of such in conjunction with the carrier, warehouse operation and transport teams
Manage the process from shipment from a supplier, through to carrier booking and delivery in accordance with local and customer requirements/regulations

About You
Experience working in a warehousing environment – and an understanding of Transport and/or Distribution would be an advantage
Understand the need for customer focus, experience with achieving targets and working to timescales
Enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, dealing with multiple queries and processes simultaneously, and thrive under pressure
Experience of adapting to programmes of change, problem solving
Excellent communicator and strong professional spoken and written skills
Good IT skills in Microsoft Office and / or Google Suite - SAP experience would be a real advantage
Previous experience in any of the following: Transport Admin Clerk, Transport Planner, Transport Planning, Warehouse Administrator, Logistics Planner, Supply Chain Planner, Freight, Shipping, Logistics Controller, Freight Controller, Supply Chain, Logistics, Distribution, Admin, Administrator, etc.
