We are looking for a Children's Social Care Assistant with a talent for administration and an interest in working with children and families, to take up the opportunity to join the Throughcare Service located within B Bond.

Within the Throughcare Service working as part of a team alongside social workers and family support workers you will be providing services to children who are in care or care leavers.

For those considering a career in children's social care this is an exciting first step, and it's an opportunity to work within social care to develop a strong foundation of the support and services we offer.

You will need strong organisation and administrative skills, and the capacity to work under pressure.

You will have good communication skills and an ability to use initiative to support the work of the team, these are essential qualities.

Key skills necessary are being able to use spreadsheets, upload performance information and data onto a database, administer basic finance process, and take minutes at meetings.

The role can include some direct work with children and their families.
