Workforce Professional Development Committee Chairperson- Performance Sport (voluntary position)

We seek enthusiastic, active members of the sport and physical activity sector to fulfil open roles on Workforce Professional Development Boards (WPDBs) and Workforce Professional Development Committees (WPDCs).

The strategic vision of the WPDBs and WPDCs is to grow the attractiveness of working and volunteering in the sport and physical activity sector and ensure all customers and consumers have an excellent experience across all areas of the industry.

As a WPDC Chair of the Performance Sport sub-committee you will act as the figurehead of the sub-committee to lead the overall work delegated to the committee from the board of trustees.

You will be the leading source of expertise and leadership for all sports and physical activity professions in the relevant board or committee.

Influencing stakeholders and policy, holding them to account to deliver at pace.
We seek expert candidates with significant knowledge or experience operating strategically in performance sport.

Work in partnership with the board of trustees, Chair of the board, CEO and senior management team and support the employees, helping them achieve the aims of the organisation.
