Description

A leading outsourcing organisation supporting government agencies requires a Procurement Manager.

Applicants need tendering/procurement experience within a public or regulated (PCR, UCR, DCR etc) environment and the ability to manage contracts.

The Procurement Manager will be responsible for managing, cradle-to-grave tenders that comply with PCR2015 regulations at above OJEU/Find a tender threshold.

Partnering closely with stakeholders within customer organisations, the Procurement Manager willalso be responsible for providing an effective contract management service.

This role entails a high degree of hybrid working.

Specific duties of the Procurement Manager entail:

Develop/Execute procurement strategies within the tender and contract management exercises
Align procurement strategies with wider customer/business objectives
Draft and issue ITTs/ITNS, contracts etc. and manage contracts postaward
Supplier and contract negotiation
Mentor junior staff and facilitate their professional development

Procurement Manager applicants should meet the following criteria:

Procurement experience within a regulated environment
OJEU, EU Procurement, PCR, UCR, DCR etc
Experience of running/managing tenders cradletograve, ideally at above OJEU and Find a Tender threshold
Contract management skillset
Experience of services procurement and support contracts
Strategic procurement expertise
Happy with a high degree of hybrid working
