Freight Forwarder/Planner It takes a special kind of drive to keep the world moving; DSV are recruiting for a Planner/Freight Forwarder to join the DSV UKFLD team based at Mercia Park?

The role involves planning a core fleet of vehicles based around the UK, plus freight forwarding extra volumes

The successful candidate will have a strong geographical knowledge of the UK and have a back ground in a transport planning environment.

The role will be based around 3x shift patterns, between 07:00am and 20:00pm.
Review booking for data accuracy and correct documentation?
Job allocation to appropriate logistics service provider?
Document production and reconciliation?
Arrange collection from suppliers and deliveries to customers?
Comply with Company policies and procedures?
Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)???
Cargo Link experience would be advantageous, but not essential, as training will be given.
Freight Forwarding and vehicle planning experience.??
