    We are seeking a highly skilled and dynamic Internal Communications professional to join our team. In this role, you will play a pivotal role in developing and executing internal communication strategies, while also spearheading the planning and coordination of events.

    This role also works across the Virgin Family and Virgin Central platforms, ensuring best in class content, driving engagement with the platforms with our 60,000 employees across the world.

    Tell me more

    • Work with the Head of Employee Communications and Engagement to develop and implement a comprehensive internal communications strategy aligned with Virgin's objectives and organisational goals.
    • Create engaging content for various existing channels, including newsletters, intranet, video and email, and explore new channels such as podcasting, ensuring clear and consistent messaging.
    • This person plays a pivotal role in the strategic development and management of the Virgin Family and Virgin Central platforms, strong digital skills and the ability to develop and implement best-in-class digital strategies are a must.
    • Work with the Digital & Content team to create engaging and innovative content for the platform.
    • Drive engagement with the Virgin Family platform, creating a sense of social connection, transforming how Virgin companies work together to change business for good.
    • Work with the Product and Engagement Manager and Virgin Red loyalty teams to drive engagement with Virgin's and partner product and services to achieve & exceed KPIs for the platform and drive revenue through exclusive employee deals and discounts across the globe.
    • Drive initiatives to enhance employee engagement, morale, and a sense of community.
    • Leverage internal communication channels to promote employee participation in events and initiatives.
    • Provide leadership and guidance to the internal communications and events team.
    • Foster a collaborative and creative work environment, encouraging the team to develop innovative communication and event solutions.

    What you'll need

    • Proven experience in internal communications and event management roles.
    • Proven experience driving internal marketing and revenue-driving campaigns.
    • Strong organisational and project management skills.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a keen eye for detail.
    • Creative mindset with the ability to develop engaging and innovative communication content.
