    Our purpose is to support independent regional brokers through their lifecycle with a range of services to ensure we grow protect and support independent regional brokers.

    An exciting opportunity for a Systems Support Team Leader has arisen to join our Broker Network team providing technical support services to our members to enable them to achieve optimum use of the broking system (Acturis or Open GI) and meet regulatory and business requirements.

    This role will include the management of a small systems team ensuring they are developed and support our wider business objectives.

    This is a remote based role that will require travel to sites across the UK as and when required so a full UK driving licence will be necessary.

    Develop and manage relationships with software houses.
    Provide on-site consultations for system reviews, identify opportunities and requirements for growth and system maximisation.
    Provide assisted set-up support for new Start-Up businesses.

    Support businesses through system change, working alongside the software houses ensuring a smooth transition from existing system and minimising disruption to the business.

    Identify members' training requirements and design bespoke training programmes, whether on site or remotely.

    Provide Helpdesk support to more complex queries and issues, which may include escalation to the software houses if required, ensuring the query is fully resolved.

    Proactively promote the service to ensure our members get value from the System Support proposition.

    Lead the delivery of project work and additional duties in order to support the Head of Systems Support, Chief Network Officer and other members of the management team.


    Experience with the insurance market and particularly with the Acturis broking system (Open GI, Applied TAM and/or SSP would also be beneficial).

    You will need to demonstrate the ability to manage stakeholders at all levels and communicate across all mediums, ensuring language used is adapted to the recipients.

    The ability to buid relationships with software houses will be essential. Your technical ability will need to be highly competent and be able to gain credibility amongst senior stakeholders.
