~ Remote-based position in the Manchester/Greater Manchester area Delve is representing a Dutch manufacturer of high-quality automated analytical analysers used globally in laboratories for environmental, food, agricultural and chemical testing. They now employ around 200 people, most of whom are based at their HQ in the Netherlands where their research & development, manufacturing, and international sales and after-sales support teams are based. Due to continued growth, they are looking to add a technician to the existing global service team of around 50 dedicated technicians. This opportunity would be perfect for someone who has experience as a chemical laboratory assistant or chemical technician and is looking for a career outside of the lab. The installation and commissioning of analyser instruments at customer laboratories across the UK
~ Training of customers in analyser operation & maintenance
~ Carrying out routine preventative maintenance visits
~ Responding to emergency service call-outs and repairs
~ Fault diagnosis and resolution using both mechanical and electrical fault-finding skills.
~ Travel

This person will be travelling across the UK around 80% of the time – we are looking for someone who has the freedom to travel and enjoys being customer-facing.

You will have completed vocational training in a chemistry-related discipline
You will have an interest and hands-on experience with electronic or mechanical systems either in a lab-based setting or as a service technician
Ideally, you have two years of experience as a chemical laboratory assistant or chemical technician.
