Payroll Manager - St. Albans, United Kingdom - Every Step Recruitment

Here at Every Step Recruitment, Finance & Accountancy, we are happy to be supporting our Client with their requirement for a Payroll Manager on a Part Time, Temporary basis.
You will be required to work in the office, between 24 to 30 hours per week.Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
- Production of monthly payroll and submission of reports to pension providers
- Processing monthly payroll information on external payroll provider portal
- Processing Starters / Leavers / Changes in Contracts
- Responding to all payroll and pension queries
- Preparing accurate payroll journals
You will have the following skills and attributes:
- At least 2 years' recent experience working within a stand-alone Payroll capacity
- Fully uptodate with payroll and pension legislation
- Excellent attention to detail and levels of accuracy
- Ability to demonstrate confidentiality
- Good communication skills both written and verbal
- Ability to prioritise and work to deadlines
- Immediately available
