    Senior Finance Assistant

    Finchley / London

    Up to £28,000 pa

    Here at Every Step Recruitment, Finance & Accountancy, we are happy to be supporting our Client with their requirement for a Senior Finance Assistant.

    Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
    • Recording and processing invoices correctly
    • Monthly supplier statement reconciliations
    • Processing sales invoices
    • Pre-payments and accruals
    • Posting cash for Purchase and Sales Ledger
    • Inter-company invoicing and journal entry
    • Support the Finance team in the maintenance of accounting ledgers
    • Prepare VAT returns on a quarterly basis
    • Assisting the Finance Manager with ad hoc duties.
      Skills and Attributes required:
      • Proficiency with Microsoft Office including a good level of Excel
      • Ideally Part qualified - AAT/CIMA / ACCA
      • A strong team player with good interpersonal skills
      • Ability to work with speed and accuracy with numbers.
      • Excellent accuracy and attention to detail
      • Excellent communication skills - both written and verbal
