My client is a global financial services business with a growing client portfolio. An opportunity has arisen for Graduateto broaden their company portfolio in the United Kingdom & Ireland.

The Business Development Specialist represents the front-end of the acquisition process: mapping and analysing the English-Speaking vertical software market, extending the pipeline of qualified Mergers & Acquisitions leads and getting in contact with prospects.

The Business Development Specialist reports to the Manager Business Development.

The role will be hybrid mainly from home with international travel. The role is ideal of a Graduate who is a self starter, thrives on an entrepreneurial growing Tech/Finance Environment

You will be a natural relationship builder with sales affinity is able to identify and follow through and research prospects and have some basic knowledge of financial reporting.

The role will entail:

Growing the prospect database in The United Kingdom & Ireland by identifying vertical market software companies meeting our acquisition criteria
Use Marketing and CRM data to build relationships with key stakeholders / decision makers
Follow up on outbound and inbound prospect activities in a timely manner
Conduct sales development best practices to connect with and qualify prospects
Track activities and manage relevant information in Salesforce

Applicants will have a degree and some previous experience of Business development. This is a progressive and highly sought-after graduate opportunity.
