South West EnglandFull-Time - HybridSalary - £60,000-£70,000My client is a global pharmaceutical company dedicated to improving the lives of consumers and patients.
As they continue to expand their operations, they are offering a unique opportunity for a associate - mid-level solicitor to join their dynamic and innovative legal team.
Key Responsibilities:
Reviewing, advising, drafting and negotiating a wide range of contracts & agreements. Including but not limited to distribution, manufacturing, IT/software, and marketing agreements.
Provide advice on compliance & regulatory issues to ensure adherence to regulatory, statutory and contractual requirements.
Support the management of trademark & patent portfolio, collaborating with IP agents to ensure its protection.
Maintain the contracts management database.
Assist and support M&A activities, including disclosure, due diligence, as well as the drafting & negotiation of sales and purchase agreements.
Manage contractual disputes.Qualifications and Experience:
UK Qualified Solicitor.
Experience within the life science industry (Biotech/Pharma), either in-house at a life science company or within a law firm being focused primarily on the life science sector (preferred).Experience with corporate & commercial contracts/agreements, e-commerce, IP, compliance, dispute resolution, and data protection.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to simplify complex legal jargon to both legal & non-legal stakeholders.Benefits:
