    Define the Information Management Strategy and oversee the development and maintenance of information governance frameworks, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations, and promoting transparency in information handling processes for (digital and paper information) in line with public organisations requirements and The Welsh Government.

    Act as the TfW information Management Authority holding the responsibility and decision-making over governance control and strategic direction of information assets by serving as a custodian of TfW information, playing a crucial role in the shaping of information landscape, fostering information-driven decision-making, and safeguarding the integrity and confidentiality of sensitive information.

    Hold the statuary role of Departmental Records Manager (DRO), carrying out risk management, auditing, and reporting, identifying continuous improvement and staying informed about changes in relevant laws, regulations, and standards, ensuring the proper management, security, and compliance of records in alignment with legal and regulatory requirements including the Public Records Act, HM Government Security Classification and TNA guidelines.

    Develop, implement, manage and be the system owner/product owner of SharePoint information architecture and configurations allowing the seamless flow of information across the organisation, through the creation of specific areas such as an intranet, knowledge base areas and access-controlled areas for users and teams to collaborate in line with organisational needs, maturity, information architecture principles and Microsoft best practices, ensuring information is protected and managed through its life cycle.

    Proven experience in a leadership role within information management.
    In depth understanding of industry best practices and emerging trends in information management
    Extensive knowledge on Microsoft environment on the use of Microsoft as an Enterprise Information Management System.
    Degree level or equivalent in Information Management
    Experience of delivering projects within the transport or civil engineering industry e.g. Welsh Language Skills
