Our client is recruiting for a cost management accountant to join their busy and fast-paced finance team.


Client Details

  • UK based company
  • Manufacturing sector
  • Bracknell based offices and facilities
  • Large finance team

Description

  • Month end duties include:
  • Managing the COS and stock reporting on a monthly basis
  • Intercompany Recharges
  • Gross Margin and Variance analysis
  • Customer profitability analysis
  • Royalties
  • Managing the accounting for the customer variable costs including rebates and marketing contributions
  • Other Month end activities
  • Cycle Counting: Tracking and driving the newly implemented Cycle Counting across the company
  • Product costing: Including costing new products; Updating existing products costing and driving a more robust system of costing across the Manufacturing division
  • Intercompany pricing
  • Other quarter end reports as required by group
  • Yearend support to finance manager and CFO
  • Other adhoc tasks.
  • One direct report: Assistant Cost Accountant

Profile

Projects supporting CFO:

  • Annual Budgeting
  • Migration to SAP

Must Have:

  • Professional finance qualification
  • Previous management experience, with good interpersonal skills and cando attitude
  • Strong organisation skills
  • Excellent excel skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to work to tight deadlines and under pressure
  • Good systems skills and ability to pick up and improve fast
  • Commercially focused
  • Manufacturing experience would be advantageous.
