Our client is a well-known reputable, diverse, innovative and globally operating company who are seeking an experienced Credit Controller for a six-month contract near the Huddersfield and Brighouse areas.


Reporting into the Finance Manager, key responsibilities will include:

  • Negotiating payment terms and assessing credit risk
  • Managing cash book with accurate receipt allocation and allocating cash to the sales ledger
  • Bank reconciliation and processing of sales invoices
  • Creation of new customer accounts using inhouse accounting software
  • Processing customer refunds and account reconciliations
  • Managing invoicing platforms self billing, consignment stock etc
  • Putting accounts on stop when required
  • Assisting with some external reporting

To be successful in this Credit Control role, individuals will ideally:

  • Be able to work towards targets and deadlines whilst retaining a high level of attention to detail
  • Have strong IT skills and will be comfortable with Excel and will be able to pick up new functions quickly
  • Be enthusiastic, confident and hands on in approach
  • Be able to work in a fast paced, ever changed environment

Job Types:
Full-time, Temporary contract, Fixed term contract, Temp to perm

Contract length: 6 months


Salary:
£25,000.00-£28,000.00 per year
