    Junior Category Manager – Project Construction & Infrastructure - FTSE100 Major – Multiple Locations, London, Berkshire, Midlands, Manchester (Hybrid with good flexibility) – £40k - £55k + Excellent Benefits

    This household engineering firm are currently embarking upon large scale growth, offering excellent development and progression opportunities for aspiring buyers/procurement specialists. In the midst several long major infrastructure projects, this role will offer an aspiring candidate the chance to be a part of key projects that will have a significant effect on a global Ftse 100 organisation

    Junior Category Manager - Responsibilities:

    · Manage the end-to-end procurement process for construction projects working with NEC4 contracts

    · Develop new strategies for category management and report to senior members as to how the company may take advantage of them.

    · Negotiate contracts and create relationships with internal & external suppliers whilst developing a strong network for each particular market.

    · Manage stakeholder relationships – ensuring a positive working relationship is in place.

    Key Skills & Experience:

    · Strong end to end procurement experience, ideally within construction/infrastructure procurement experience

    · Contracts Management experience, ideally within NEC4 contracts or FIDIC

    · Proven track record of managing spend and delivering savings

    · History of negotiating with the ability to influence decisions in your favour

    · Good communication skills with past experience managing supplier and stakeholder relationships

    · IT literate, ability to use computer systems
