Opportunity is around the corner as Pertemps are working in partnership with national pet food supplier located near North Scarle, Lincoln, recruiting for Machine Operatives & Forklift Drivers to join a successful team.

You will be required to run the milling and extruding machinery in their busy factory You will also be asked to work on a forklift truck where you will be safely loading machinery with ingredients to kick start the production process.

In addition to this, you will also need to operate a wide range of unique equipment and machinery relevant to the pet food manufacturing process.

What will I be expected to do?

Run Milling & Extruder Machines
Loading machinery with ingredients by hand and forklift
Safely operative a variety of manufacturing machinery either individually or as a team.
Operate forklifts efficiently and safely.
Complete regular technical checks on machinery and equipment.
Follow the company's hygiene rules, maintaining a safe and clean work space.
What skills do I need?

Experience in similar roles or with similar machinery is essential.
Ability to work at high intensity with heavy goods.
Good time keeping
Positive can-do attitude.
Having an FLT Licence is not essential but is advantageous
Due to location of site, transport will be needed.
What hours will I be working?
Monday to Thursday. Working 12-hour shifts, both on days and nights.

6AM to 6PM & 6PM to 6AM

What will I be paid?
The pay for this position is £14.00 per hour.
