    Description

    National Highways have an excellent opportunity for a Business Service Coordinator to join our team in the East region. The Business Services Coordinator will support and enable the delivery of capital investment, maintenance and all operational capabilities by the National Highways Operations Directorate. The broad scope of this role encompasses the delivery and coordination of business services and administrative support to a wide range of internal and external stakeholders.

    Please note this role will be based from our Bedford Office office.

    What you'll be leading on

    • Ensure that customer correspondence is drafted and completed to the required performance standards for quality and timeliness. Customer correspondence includes Customer Enquiries, Customer telephone calls, Complaints, and Ministerial Correspondence.
    • Develop and maintain performance management information and reports to ensure that all operational support and business services activities are delivered to the required standards and timelines.
    • Provision of effective administrative support to the business. This may include executive and project support, support to meetings and conferences, fleet management and management of supplies and consumables.
    • Produce reports, presentations and other documents, collating and analysing relevant information and statistics from identified sources, to support others in the delivery of their business objectives.
    • Ensure the timely and effective dissemination of notices, memoranda and information.
    • Enable and support effective information management including the maintenance of documents and records.

    To be successful

    • Excellent IT skills including MS Office and Excel
    • Experience in Business Administration or Operational Support roles
    • Experience in drafting and managing written correspondence.
    • Strong attention to detail
    • Good customer service skills
