    Role: Head of Marketing

    Salary: £70k + 20% bonus

    Location: London, Hybrid

    Role

    To oversee all aspects of marketing activity, as well as collaborating with the sales and sponsorship teams to help cultivate leads. The head of marketing will liaise with other department heads to help develop business strategy, as well as managing a diverse team of marketers to help execute campaigns across various marketing platforms.

    Responsibilities:

    • Planning and execution of marketing campaigns on time and on budget as agreed with the Vice President and Head of Sales across the event.
    • Review, forecast and monitor marketing spend across events.
    • Coordinate and manage supplier relationships as well as provide internal support to sales teams when required.
    • Produce effective advertising, marketing and sales collateral for all products – including copywriting, design and production.
    • Develop relationships with trade associations, media, regulators and industry organisations.
    • Develop and negotiate contract agreements.
    • Assist the Event Management team to identify product development, sponsorship and branding opportunities.
    • Manage and help develop the marketing team to achieve full potential.

    Requirements

    • 5+ years management experience within events and / or B2B media
    • Knowledge of B2B exhibition and B2B publishing market
    • Understanding of data protection issues
    • Ability to network and liaise with senior people/trade bodies and associations
    • Strong knowledge of marketing best practice and experience of developing online strategy
    • Experience of auditing existing procedures and introducing new procedures
