    We are looking for indian chef's for prestigious fine dining restaurant opening soon in the heart of Mayfair, London. Our establishment is dedicated to delivering exceptional culinary experiences, blending traditional flavors with modern techniques to create unforgettable dishes. As we prepare for our grand opening, we are seeking talented and passionate Curry Chef and Tandoor Chef to join our dynamic team.

    Job Description:

    As a Curry Chef and Tandoor Chef, you will be responsible for the following:

    Curry Chef:

    • Prepare a variety of authentic Indian curries, ensuring quality, taste, and presentation meet the restaurant's standards.
    • Develop and innovate new curry recipes while adhering to traditional cooking methods and flavors.
    • Maintain inventory levels and order supplies to ensure uninterrupted kitchen operations.
    • Train and supervise junior kitchen staff to ensure consistency and efficiency in curry preparation.
    • Adhere to food safety and hygiene standards at all times.

    Tandoor Chef:

    • Expertly operate and maintain the tandoor oven, ensuring optimal temperature and cooking conditions.
    • Prepare a range of tandoori dishes, including meats, seafood, and bread, with precision and attention to detail.
    • Creatively experiment with tandoor cooking techniques to enhance flavors and textures.
    • Collaborate with the culinary team to develop innovative tandoori-inspired dishes for seasonal menus.
    • Monitor food quality and ensure all tandoor-cooked dishes meet the restaurant's standards.

    Requirements:

    For Curry Chef:

    • Proven experience as a Curry Chef or similar role in a high-end restaurant or hotel.
    • In-depth knowledge of Indian spices, herbs, and cooking techniques.
    • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
    • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
    • Certification in culinary arts or relevant field is preferred.

    For Tandoor Chef:

    • Previous experience as a Tandoor Chef in a reputable restaurant or hotel.
    • Proficiency in operating and maintaining a tandoor oven.
    • Strong understanding of tandoori cooking methods and principles.
    • Creative flair and passion for experimenting with tandoor dishes.
    • Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high food quality standards.
