    About the company:
    Our client is a pioneer in e-commerce and fulfilment. They are at the forefront of innovation and are currently seeking a Carrier Manager to support their continued growth. They are a fresh, successful and dynamic business with huge growth potential.

    The role can be offered on a remote or hybrid basis, but with the expectation to have a site presence once a week.


    Role overview:

    As Carrier Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the cost-effective, efficient, and accurate delivery of orders.

    You will work closely with site and distribution partners to uphold service level agreements (SLAs) and optimize carrier performance.


    Responsibilities:

    • Lead daily and weekly performance reviews, analysing key performance indicators (KPIs) to maximize carrier performance and meet SLA requirements.
    • Conduct regular review sessions with carriers to provide feedback and drive operational efficiencies.
    • Report all exceptions, such as late collections or deliveries, and ensure effective communication with customer release and follow-up teams.
    • Collaborate with other departments to implement best practices and support transformation plans, while maximizing digitalization across the carrier network.
    • Investigate, manage, and resolve any incidents or claims involving third-party carriers

    Requirements:

    • Previous experience in a similar role, preferably within a fulfilment centre environment.
    • Full understanding of pricing structures and experience working closely with UK parcel delivery companies.
    • Willingness to travel sporadically within the EU to meet with other delivery centres.
    • Comprehensive understanding of end-to-end supply chain processes and the implications of service level failures.
    • Experience working with multiple carriers in a fast-paced environment.
    • Advanced Excel (Power BI an advantage, but not essential).
