    Yorkshire Marine Nature Partnership Development Officer - Fixed Term Maternity Cover

    We are looking for a passionate and dedicated person to lead on the development and delivery of the Yorkshire Marine Nature Partnership (YMNP). This is a temporary post to provide maternity cover for a maximum of 12 months.

    As Yorkshire Marine Nature Partnership Development Officer you will be expected to facilitate and lead the ongoing work of the Partnership, focusing on the collaborative and coordinated management of our natural heritage. You will build on local expertise and current relationships to engage with new partners, progress active projects and seek new opportunities for the Partnership's development.

    We are looking for someone who can clearly communicate relevant issues to help build strong relationships with a wide range of partners, relevant authorities and key stakeholders. You should be able to work across multiple projects and have strong organisational skills. You should have experience of policy / strategy development in a multi-agency environment and will need to demonstrate knowledge of the current government policy relating to the natural environment.

    You should be educated to degree level (or equivalent) in a relevant subject and have a good understanding of the challenges and opportunities relating to the heritage of Yorkshire's coastal and marine environment.

    The post is full time (37 hours per week), however this is flexible. Part-time and secondment options will be considered.
