About the Role:
GSL Education are actively seeking a qualified
School Admin for immediate placement at Client Schools in
Gateshead. As a School Administrator, your role will involve delivering administrative assistance to both school staff and students, thereby ensuring the seamless operation of the school office. You will serve as the primary point of contact for visitors, parents, and external agencies, underscoring the importance of excellent communication and interpersonal skills in this pivotal position.
School Admin Role:
- Overseeing the management of the school's attendance and absence records.
- Maintaining and updating the school's database and website.
- Compiling letters, reports, and newsletters.
- Managing the procurement and upkeep of office supplies and equipment.
- Coordinating communication with other schools, local authorities, and external agencies.
- Proactivity, resilience, kindness and empathy
- A full checkable work history
- A Bachelor's degree in any discipline or relevant experience
- Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in an educational setting
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and other IT systems
- Good organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- A positive and professional attitude
