What you'll be doing

We are seeking a versatile Developer to join our cross functional team working in an agile environment to create and maintain digital products across web and mobile. Projects will be a mix of rapid proof of concepts and large scale production applications, utilising both established and emerging technologies. You'll work with existing codebases and on new projects, and will need to develop in line with agreed specifications and designs.

Skills

Ideal candidates will tick many boxes from the following:

• Strong programming skills in two or more of: JavaScript/TypeScript, C#, PHP, Rust, Java or similar
• Full Stack development experience with proficiency in at least one front-end framework (e.g., React, React Native, Flutter, Angular) and one back-end framework (e.g., , ASP.NET, Laravel)
• Proficient with version control systems, preferably Git
• Experience with relational and NoSQL databases
• Familiarity with content management systems (CMS), enhancing flexibility in managing digital content across various platforms
• Expertise in HTML, CSS, and modern web packaging technologies to create responsive and efficient user interfaces
• Good understanding of cloud infrastructure, particularly AWS, for hosting and managing web applications efficiently
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and a strong eagerness to learn new technologies
• Solid communication skills for effective team collaboration and project management
• Familiarity with agile development practices and an ability to adapt quickly to changing project requirements

Tasks and Responsibilities

• Collaborate with team members to deliver digital solutions for clients on time and to specification
• Write clean and scalable code
• Test and deploy applications and systems
• Develop across the software development lifecycle
• Maintain existing project code for a variety of projects
• Document technical solutions
• Participate in technical workshops

Application process

Stage 1: Interest

Apply via this LinkedIn ad. After a few days we will close the ad, review applications and create a shortlist.

Stage 2: First Stage Interview

We will invite shortlisted candidates to a first stage video interview, in which we can find out a little more about each other.

Stage 3: Challenge

Selected candidates will be sent a coding challenge to complete in their own time. The challenge will be indicative of the type of work you would do in this role at Radical. Once you have completed the challenge you will be required to share it with us.

Stage 4: Final Stage Interview

Via another video interview we will ask you to talk through your response to the coding challenge and answer our questions about your approach.

Once final interviews are complete we will be ready to submit a formal offer to the selected candidate.
