My client is a successful, modern, forward thinking Bridging Finance, Development Finance and Commercial Mortgage lender. The company have the experience to transact swiftly whilst still also taking a prudent approach to risk.


The company have a bespoke lending model, which provides them with the flexibility to consider the wider spectrum of a borrower's circumstances.

Through multiple funding sources from individuals to institutions my client can finance a diverse range of projects.


Due to exciting business growth the company are currently looking for additional experienced Bridging Finance - Business Development Manager's with excellent relationship building skills to join their established team.


The position will entail forging excellent relationships with brokers and borrowers alike, you will research and identify new business opportunities including new markets, areas for growth, trends and products.

The working hours within the role are Monday to Friday 9:00am to 17:30pm.


When at the office, free car parking is available onsite, and the office is also a short walk from the local train station.


Again when at the office, free breakfast and lunch are provided to all members of staff each day, made by the firms inhouse chef.

There is also a pool table within the office to enjoy your breaks fully

Within this position
Key features of the role include:

  • You will be responsible for the sale of the firms product range, whether that be to brokers, introducers, or directly to borrowers
  • To work with the Sales Administration team to ensure an active diary each day/week
  • Ensure Terms of Business sent are chased up in a timely and efficient manner
  • Assist within keeping the firms sales presentations up to date, accurate and to present to both new and existing brokers
  • Monitor the wider market within the industry, including competitors to ensure that the company remain competitive
  • Assist the Underwriting team to ensure the smooth completion of loans

Meetings -Hold regular meetings with brokers and/or introducers with targets being set. These meetings can be face to face and/or via video

  • A minimum of 2 years current/recent, Bridging Finance
  • Business Development Manager experience
  • Welldeveloped relationship building skills
  • Great communication skills
  • An excellent understanding of the firms lending products
  • Development Finance experience would be advantageous but not a necessity
