Do you have 2 years of experienceformulating Skincare products such as Serums Suncreams SPF TanningLotions Creams Cleansers Moisturizers or similar Skincareproducts

Tasks

Therole of Formulation ChemistSkincare:

Formulation and ProductDevelopment:
Design and development of advanced skincarehaircare and colour cosmetic formulations including creams serumsSPFs lip products and more.
Collaborate withcrossfunctional teams to bring innovative product concepts to lifeensuring product performance stability and safety meet the highestindustry standards
Maintain meticulous records offormulation development work specifications stability data and anytrial results
Contribute to the development andimprovement of laboratory Standard Operating Procedures(SOPs)
Project Management and Collaboration:
Manage multiple projects concurrently from initial concept toproduct launch ensuring timelines and budgets are met
Collaborate closely with crossfunctional teams including NPDregulatory and manufacturing to deliver successful productlaunches.

Requirements

Innovationand Portfolio Enhancement:
Drive technicaladvancements and frame formulations prioritising those in line withmarket trends and benchmarks
Cultivate and sustaincollaborative relationships with suppliers to stay at the forefrontof cosmetic science and trends
Researching and evaluatingnew raw materials and ingredients for product enhancement alignedwith formulation requirements costeffectiveness and emergingindustry trends
Contribute to our innovation pipeline bycontinually evolving and strengthening our productportfolio
Make datadriven decisions to optimiseformulations considering factors such as costeffectiveness andsustainability

ManufacturingSupport:
Offer scaleup support to themanufacturing team working closely with the Technical Manager toprovide essential production documentation such as manufacturingflowcharts and relevant testing data
Attend productionactivities as necessary

The requirements for theFormulation Chemist Skincare:
You will already be anexperienced Formulation Chemist/Formulation Scientist or equivalentwith circa 2 years experience formulating Skincareproducts
Experience working directly with NPD teams witha track record in translating formulation requirements into highquality Skincare products is required
Calm under pressureand be able to balance conflicting priorities
Comfortablewith data handling and analysis and creative in ways of drivingvalue from data created within the team
Able toorganise/prioritise your own and the teams workload in response tobusiness priorities
Ambition and motivation hunger forsuccess and genuine responsibility
Have a good additionto detail and strong communicationskills
