A top-tier Guildford-based firm are looking for a private solicitor to join their tax advisory team.

The firm are highly ranked in the legal 500 and are accredited with numerous awards, including being crowned the 'Law Firm of the Year:

the Independents'at the Lawyer Awards and being shortlisted for law firm of the year by The Times, British Legal Awards and the Citywealth Magic Circle Awards.

The firm is top ranked for Private Wealth Law as 'National Leaders (outside London)' in Chambers HNW and top rankedfor Personal tax, trusts and probate in The Legal 500.

The role will see the successful candidate working with the tax team in various advisory roles. Examples include advising members of the Sunday Times Rich List on tax-efficient succession strategies, charitablegiving and investment tax issues; advising ultra high net worth individuals about the methods of restructuring their offshore accounts and advising non
  • UK domiciled clients on pre arrival UK tax planning.

The successful candidate will:

  • Ideally have overtwo years of post qualified experienced in a high quality City or leading regional firm (however, less experienced candidates are also invited to apply).
  • Have strong academics and be a competent private client lawyer (with specific tax advisory experience).
  • Have excellent communication skills and be keen to aid in the business development of the firm.
