    Are you an Automotive Electrical Engineer, looking to join a leading Research and Development Team, for a major automotive manufacturer? Do you have passion for future vehicle development?

    One of the world's largest automotive manufacturer's is currently recruiting for an Electrical Engineer, to support the Electrical & Electronic (EE) Test team, with the validation of Power supply architecture reliability, circuit confirmation of electronic parts and, layout confirmation of the wiring loom and harness parts.

    Based in Bedfordshire, you will be working within a dedicated and enthusiastic team of Engineers on a rolling contract basis.

    Responsibilities of the Electrical Engineer include:


    • Test plan and testing procedures creation


    • Confirmation of vehicle specification and test parts required for test


    • Vehicle test coordination and reporting of test results


    • Root cause investigation and countermeasure recommendation


    • Technical support to the production plant as required

    Qualifications and skills required for the Electrical Engineer position:


    • Ideally Degree qualified in a relevant discipline


    • Understand electrical theory and the operation of electronic devices


    • Harness / EDS layout and application experience


    • Skilled in automotive electrical and electronic system development


    • Ability to follow system circuit diagrams and identify electrical connections


    • Experience of using automotive CAD tools


    • Valid Driving Licence

    There is a requirement to travel abroad, typically a few days to 2 weeks, but on rare occasions travel may be longer.
