We are working with a medical membership body who provide professional learning for healthcare professionals, to recruit a Project Officer who will play a key role in the operational development and delivery of a new clinical skills assessment module.

About the role


This is a full time, fixed term contract for 12 months initially with a potential to extend or become permanent.

The role operates part remotely with a requirement to be in the London office twice a week. The salary is £


As the Project Officer, you'll work with the examinations team healthcare clinicians, the leadership team, the medical education regulator and other stakeholders.


Your key tasks:
- developing a detailed project plan for the new assessment module including agreeing key delivery milestones
- overseeing the project budget related to planning, monitoring and reporting
- working in partnership with the Clinical Lead providing support and direction
- recording and managing risks, assessing, reporting and escalating appropriately

To be considered you will have:

  • experience working within the context of a membership body, higher/further education or similar organisation
- programme/project delivery management experience including project planning from inception to launch
- the ability to work autonomously with good problems solving skills in a high risk environment

Ideally, you'll have experience or an understanding of developing assessments or qualifications
