A world leader in animation is looking for a Pipeline Developer to join their Digital Production Technology department in Bristol.

This is a fantastic opportunity to be a part of a studio responsible for some of the best loved characters and productions asthey work on a huge project.

Due to the nature of the work, this role is hybrid and will require 2/3 days on-site per week.


What experience you'll need:


  • Demonstrable experience with Digital Content Creation software e.g Maya, Houdini, Nuke, Unreal, Blender, Katana etc.
  • Skilled in Python.
  • Experienced with graphics related programming.
  • Knowledge of CG animation.
  • Comfortable developing in a Windows environment.
  • Experience with cloudbased project management systems (Shotgrid/Ftrack).
  • Understanding of Version Control Workflows
  • Working knowledge of shading languages and render scripting.
  • Familiar with render farm or data management tools.
  • Experience with Linux software.

What you'll be doing
As part of the Digital Production Technology department, you'll be involved with provisioning, development,
maintenance, and support of specialist digital production technology, infrastructure, workflows, and
pipelines on all Productions (including Stop-motion, CGI animation, and VFX).

Your focus will be developing and maintaining pipeline tools for artists using a variety of 2D and 3D software as well as supporting the integration of stop-motion productions intothe CGI pipeline.

You'll also be responsible for producing appropriate technical documentation and tutorials for tools and integrations.
