    The Role

    Whether you are a newly qualified graduate or a more experienced vet, we have an exciting opportunity for you to join our supportive and friendly team here at Hampton Vets, Peterborough

    We are looking for an enthusiastic, motivated and friendly team player with excellent communication skills and the ability to engage well with our clients. The role is varied and includes routine appointments/vaccinations, consults, patient care and theatre work. We can be flexible with working days and hours and will consider full time or part time applications. The rota will include working 1 in 3 Saturdays between 8am and 1.30pm. There are no out of hour duties.

    The salary for this role is up to £63,000 depending on experience.

    About Us

    We are a modern purpose-built surgery in Hampton, Peterborough with the usual facilities including dental x-rays, ultrasound, in-house laboratory machines and we are also a nurse training practice. We have a large and loyal client base and a busy and varied small animal caseload. There are excellent transport links, as we are very close to the A1M as well as direct trains from Peterborough to London or North on the East Coast Main Line to Leeds, Newcastle and Edinburgh. We offer a great work-life balance as we are closed Saturday afternoons, Sundays and there are no out of hour duties.

    About the Team and Culture

    We have an experienced clinical team of 3 vets and 6 nurses plus a support team of receptionists. We are a friendly, happy and supportive place to work and pride ourselves on our excellent community standing. Wellbeing is very important to us and we enjoy team building events outside of work throughout the year.
