Summary of role


This role to engage and lead a proactive Skills Bootcamp sales & recruitment focused team on delivering growth targets across a range of Babington's product portfolio supporting Employers and Learners to develop better futures.


This role is all about buidling relationships, driving an employment led engagement model to maximise contract revenue, encouraging and coaching your Skills Bootcamp team to develop their sales performance as well as recruitment partner activities and tobuild exceptional customer relationships to consistently met personal and team objectives to achieve your monthly targets and key performance indicators.


Core Values and Summary of Principle Accountabilities

  • The role of the Growth Manager is to lead and manage a team of Relationship Development managers, Learner Resource and Recruitment Partners to grow and develop nationwide relationships with employers selling Babington's portfolio of Skills Bootcamps, andCommercial learning solutions.
  • Maintain existing Customer relationships with regular client service calls and developing future opportunities and pipeline.
  • Ensure that the team are fully aware of the company's safeguarding policy and your responsibilities within that and refer any matters for concern to the company's designated safeguarding officer for further investigation.
  • Your role is critical in achieving defined team target agreed with the business and to enable the team to meet individual and personal targets together with stretched team targets.
  • Your role will prioritise the daily and weekly sales engagement buzz sessions and team updates to ensure the highest level of team engagement whilst working in a remote environment.

Essential Qualifications

  • Grade A-C GCSE in English and Maths or equivalent
  • Level 2 Information, Advice and Guidance qualification or willingness to acquire

Desirable Qualifications:


  • Commercial Sales Qualification (e.g. C&G Level 2 or 3 Certificate in Sales, C&G Level 2 or 3 Diploma in Sales, Institute of Sales & Management (ISM) Level 2 or 3)

Skills and experience

  • Extensive Business to Business (B2B) and Business to Customer (B2C) experience
  • Experience of leading a team
  • Skills Bootcamp knowledge
  • Experience of selling Government funded training
  • Experience in recruitment, marketing or sales.
  • Experience of delivering high level of service and satisfaction.
  • Experience of successfully achieving deadlines and working without close supervision.
  • Experience of liaising with employers and external agencies.
  • Experience of managing databases / CRM systems for lead generation.
  • Experience selfmotivating to achieve KPIs and targets
  • Ability to establish and maintain rapport with a wide variety of people.
  • Effective negotiation skills
  • Knowledge of labour market information.
  • Ability to work within a target driven environment.
  • Knowledge of the Awarding Organisations, Funding Bodies and Ofsted regulatory arrangements
  • Hold a clean driving license with access to a vehicle or ability to travel nationally
