Portfolio Payroll are currently working with a reputable & well-established firm that deliver back office software and solutions to clients in the Belfast area who are currently recruiting for a Payroll Administrator to join their team.


As a Payroll Adminstrator, you'll be:

  • Working within a larger team to ensure accurate and timely in-house payroll production for various clients
  • Providing excellent customer service
  • Supporting endtoend Payroll
  • Maintaining working knowledge and understanding of current statutory regulation
This role will be varied over numerous clients with the main focus on client relationships and customer care. You'll be doing month end & year-end returns & balancing and performing manual calculations as & when required.


You'll require:

  • Knowledge of statutory & legislative regulations
  • Ability to communicate at all levels
  • Understand the payroll deadlines & requirements
  • Clear & concise communication, both written & verbal
  • Ability to work on own & within part of a team
  • Knowledge of UK Tax legislation

Desirable skills and attributes:


  • You will have had previous payroll experience
  • A keen eye for detail
  • Enjoy working within a team
  • Ability to supervise in managers absence
  • Excellent communicator as you will be answering queries
  • Must have strong Excel
  • CIPP Payroll qualification or be willing to attain
  • At least two years knowledge of working in a multi frequency payroll environment
