    Job Title: Finance and Corporate Services Manager

    Location: Birmingham (Hybrid)

    Salary: £46,507 - £50,280 per annum

    Contract Type: Permanent

    Hours: Full Time

    Vacancy Overview:

    My Client is seeking a Finance and Corporate Services Manager to join their team in Birmingham on a permanent, full-time basis. This role will involve coordinating the development and management of effective governance structures and processes to support the Trustees and Director in overseeing investments and income. The successful candidate will oversee corporate governance structures, including finance, admin, HR, facilities, and compliance, in alignment with organizational objectives.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Lead and manage the performance reporting and accounting team.
    • Advance strategic divisional work to achieve organizational objectives.
    • Procure and manage relationships with vendors, including contracts and licensing agreements.
    • Strengthen relations with the wider community.
    • Facilitate cooperation with other parts of the IR family.
    • Ensure timely submissions to regulatory bodies.
    • Oversee and manage the risk register.
    • Control financial statements of Waqf properties and rental income.
    • Provide efficient financial services to various units.
    • Develop and implement the finance function's strategy.
    • Manage and develop staff within the finance function.
    • Liaise with thematic leadership, directors, and senior leadership teams.
    • Actively engage with stakeholders, including donors and regulatory bodies.

    Requirements:

    • Membership of a professional accounting body (ICAEW, ACCA, CIMA) is essential; a management degree is desirable.
    • Substantial experience in audit, regulatory frameworks, risk management, assurance, and financial management at a senior level.
    • Proven experience in managing staff, strategic planning, budgeting, and corporate decision-making.
    • Ability to engage with decision-makers and demonstrate political judgment and sensitivity.
    • Demonstrable strategic leadership, communication, and analytical skills.
    • Self-management and awareness with a high level of energy and flexibility.
