    We are recruiting for a Nurse Team Leader - John Bush Supportive Care at Mount Vernon Cancer Centre, who shares our vision to be trusted to provide consistently outstanding care and exemplary service to our patients.

    The day unit has 12 treatment chairs and operates from 07:30 - 19:00 Monday to Friday treating adult patients with both solid tumours and haematological cancers.

    The post holder is responsible for delivering a high standard of specialist nursing care to all patients within MVCC.

    Able to coordinate the overall management of the ward.

    Facilitating the education and support of qualified and unqualified staff and participating in the development of nursing practice in the clinical area.

    In possession of Oncology or Haematology Care modules
    Counselling Skills
    Proven experience at Band 5 in Oncology / Haematology
    Change management
    Working with chemo care or electronic prescribing systems
    Ability to prioritise patient care
    Resource management
