Finance Assistant - Saltburn-by-the-Sea, United Kingdom - Si Recruitment
Description
We are working with a long running family business, located near Saltburn who are looking to appoint a finance assistant on a full-time, permanent basis.
Responsibilities:
- Purchase Ledger processing and matching orders
- AP and AR experience (from input to reconciliations)
- Producing Trade Debtors, and monthly credit control activities.
- Sales invoicing, and agent commissions.
- Cash book reconciliations
- Supporting month end accounts prep and reporting tasks
- Obtaining Management Info for regular KPI analysis
- Accruals / Prepayments / GRNI
- Petty cash
- Payroll knowledge
- Holiday cover for payroll and stock / purchase clerks where required
- Strong excel skills ( pivot tables)
- Experience using Opera 3 (advantageous)
- Analytical and a real problem solver
- Forward thinking who can share ideas to develop the role
- Proactive

This is a new role which has been created due to growth within the business and a high volume of workload.
**Hours of work are: Monday - Thursday 8am to 5 pm, half hour for lunch ( unpaid) Fridays - 12pm.
