    General Manager Designate· Live in available · Bonus schemes · Meals provided on shift.· Holiday Pro rata 28 days pcy

    As the General Manager, you will be responsible for operating and driving the venue while supporting the owner/directors in all aspects of running the business.

    Your focus will be on product quality, staff training, profit achievement, revenue generation and ensuring customer expectations are exceeded. You will inspire leadership and passion into your team, particularly in the food and drinks offerings and customer service.

    Your role will also involve developing positive people management practices to deliver an exceptional customer experience.· Continually develop your passion and knowledge of beers, wines, good spirits, and whisky and promoting the food menu.· Achieve sales targets, profit margins, and manage costs within set budgets.· Communicate financial performance to the management team and owners as required.· Ensure effective communication to the wider team regarding key performance indicators (KPIs) and sales.· Ensure compliance with all licensing laws, health and safety regulations, and other legislative requirements.· Maintain high standards of product delivery at all times.· Drive product quality improvement through regular training, sampling, and people management.· Present costed ideas for promotional activities to increase trade.· Analyse sales mix and reports to identify areas for growth and incentivise teams accordingly.· Continuously source and recruit high-calibre team members.· Continuously train, coach, and mentor the team, conducting regular reviews and addressing performance issues promptly.


    The Person:

    • Previous experience in a General Manager role within a busy and demanding venue.
    • Strong leadership and motivation skills to inspire team members.
    • Track record of driving sales and developing business.
    • Highly organised and self-motivated individual.
    • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
    • Ability to handle and diffuse challenging situations, ensuring safety, comfort, and satisfaction.
    • Experience in inventory management, menu creation, and employee scheduling.
    • Proficient in managing budgets, tracking costs, and maintaining financial performance.
