We are currently recruiting for a Property Claims Adjuster on behalf of our client, a very highly regarded and well-known brand in the Lloyd's insurance market.

The primary purpose of the role is to proactively adjust a portfolio of US Property claims via Delegated Authority entities, whilst assisting other members within the wider Property team, and acting as a key referral point, developing key relationships acrossthe business.

Key Responsibilities

Proactively adjusting US Property claims within authority level in accordance with the company's claims vision.
Working closely and in collaboration with Underwriters to help them develop business, building a portfolio in accordance with the business plan, as well as understanding the current status of existing binders.
Ensuring Delegated Claims are managed in accordance with company claims values, ensuring effective oversight of TPAs / Service Providers via regular reporting on KPIs.
Instructing and proactively overseeing Lawyers, Adjusters and experts from the agreed panel, ensuring the best outcomes whilst controlling costs and reducing claims leakage.

Key Requirements

At least 12 years of claims handling experience, preferably Property, North American or Delegated Claims.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
