Manthorpe Building Products is a leading designer, manufacturer and supplier of plastic injection moulded, vacuum formed and extruded products for the building industry.

We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Telesales Agent to join our company and work in the Sales team based from the Manthorpe site in Ripley, DE5.

This role is a fixed term 6 month role with the view to go permanent.

Role:

This role is to work within the UK sales team, typically telephone (office) based, to promote sales of the Manthorpe product range by creating end user demand and feeding business back through channel partners.

Responsibilities:

Develop relationships with new and existing customers to promote sales
Proactively identify and secure new account and partnership opportunities
Rigorously follow up on and track all sales leads
Maximise selling price and profitability
Attendance of trade shows, customer and company events and relevant meetings
Maintain an effective and efficient administration system
Ensure that product knowledge is maintained to the highest standard
Support organisational culture by demonstrating role model behaviour, best practise and facilitating involvement and developing others
Deliver agreed financial and strategic goals / targets
Deliver growth on the back of successful creation of demand generation

Requirements:

Relevent experience within a Sales role
Relationship builder
Team player who can perform in a fastpaced environment
Clear confident manner
Strong interpersonal skills
IT literate
Experience in the construction industry selling to the end user/ contractor and channel partners

Hours of work:
This is a full time role working Monday - Friday.

Salary:
We are offering a competitive salary and a bonus structure is in place.
