    We arelooking to appoint one catering assistant to assist with thedelivery of an outstanding professional catering service for theOak Partnership Trust. They will support the Kitchen Manager andAssistant Kitchen Manager with the preparation and service of foodand beverages to all trust schools. They will work alongside ourexisting staff both at West Monkton Primary School and onsite atour other schools.The Oak Partnership Trust is committed tosafeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and allstaff/volunteers must share thiscommitment.

    Your NewRole

    As a Catering Assistant youwill play a key role in the preparation and delivery of dailyschool meals. You will support the kitchen team in various dutiesensuring that food is prepared cooked and presented to highstandards and that all operations run smoothly andefficiently.

    Main ResponsibilitiesInclude:

    • Assisting inthe preparation and cooking of meals.
    • Helpingto serve food to students staff andvisitors.
    • Maintaining a clean and safe kitchenenvironment.
    • Ensuring compliance with foodhygiene and safety standards.
    • Supporting stockcontrol and inventory management.
    • Engagingpositively with students and staff.
    • The postwill require driving the Trust vehicledaily.

    • Able towork well as part of a team and underpressure.
    • Responsive and adaptable to thefastpaced school environment.
    • Knowledgeableabout food hygiene and safety regulations (training will beprovided).

    KeyRequirements:

    • Noformal qualifications necessary; however experience in catering orhospitality would be beneficial.
    • Willingness toundergo food hygiene and safety training.
    • Apositive attitude and good communicationskills.
    • Full UK driving licences is essential.
    • Must have the right to work in theUK.
