We have a fantastic opportunity for a
Housing Support Assistant to join our supportive and friendly team at Lovat Fields Retirement Village in Willen Park, Milton Keynes to deliver housing support to our residents.

This is a permanent contract offering 20 hours per week on a rota basis and in return you will receive a competitive salary of £10.

71 per hour (FTE £20,941 per annum)
plus an excellent benefits package which includes;

What will you do as our Housing Support Assistant
?

  • Provide a housing service to older people, enabling them to be healthy, stay safe and enjoy an active lifestyle
  • Complete annual basic needs assessments for all residents
  • Assist residents to resolve or prevent housing debts
  • Monitor the performance of any additional 3rd party social care and personal care services
  • Organise surgeries to give residents the opportunitiy to discuss housing issues
  • Provide access to and escort other professionals, staying with the resident if required
  • Achieve any QCF or CPD targets if trained to be an Assessor

Our ideal Housing Support Assistant
will have**:

  • Experience of ensuring contractual compliance (essential)
  • Previous housing experience (desirable)
  • Great customer service skills
  • The ability to be empathetic and keep accurate records
  • Ability to work on your own initiative
  • High levels of motivation, flexibility and communication
