Research Consultant

Salary:
£28,000 - £30,000 per annum

Research Consultant Responsibilities:


  • Establishing search geographies for assignments, identifying sources and targets through desk research and telephone sourcing
  • Undertaking research to support bid preparation
  • Preparing regular client updates on assignment progression
  • Provide developmental support and coaching to junior team members
  • Analysing and building market information and trends in relation to people, policy and sector shifts to develop insights and business intelligence
  • Assist in drafting high quality proposals and presentations including participating in pitches
  • Assist in resource planning, timetabling and implementation of research across a number of assignments at any one time, identifying, flagging up, managing and mitigating risks to ensure smooth delivery

Research Consultant Essentials:


  • Minimum 6 months administration/office experience
  • Ability to speak and write in a clear, persuasive manner to influence and build credibility and relationships with people at all levels of seniority
  • Using a variety of research approaches including databases, an ability to interpret, analyse and evaluate information logically to reach robust judgements and demonstrate reasoning to support conclusions
  • Ability to work at pace and manage competing priorities
  • Ability to master recruitment packages quickly and efficiently as well as MS office packages
