Role Responsibilities:
- Negotiate terms & conditions and sign contracts with agents.
- Maintain the fixed product portfolio
- Updates to existing products for upcoming year (prices, hotels, inclusions).
- Goal to be set e.g., monthly updates/promos plus functionality updates.
- Targeted promos i.e., different promos in different markets.
- Create and maintain promotion materials together with relevant teams.
- Advise management on feedback from agents e.g. gaps in services, payment solutions needed.
- Prepare monthly statistics on lead generation, request generation, conversion, sales and gross margin.
- Do research on destinations/suppliers/services as part of creating offers.
- Negotiate supplier contracts for hotels, transport and activities.
- Manage contracts in the backoffice system
- On tour support during office hours and part of an emergency service rota outside of hours.
- Manage receipts from agents and liaise with accounts department.
- Approve purchase invoices and liaise with accounts department.
About you:
- 45+ years' experience
- Essential languages required: Polish & French
- Attention to detail: nice, tidy correspondence that looks professional is key.
- Commitment: if you have the "9 to 5" mindset this role may not be for you. During high season, there will be overtime for sure.
- Initiative: Important to be selfmotivated and to work on doing things better and faster as well as to drive sales. Each employee gets a lot of independence and responsibility early.
- Flexibility: Travel is notoriously unpredictable. There are many changes during the booking and operations process. Important to understand and adapt to each situation.
- Skills: English spoken and written needs to be good and effortless & It's Very important that you are comfortable with MS Office and a quick study on backoffice systems and other travel trade systems
- Languages: Spanish or Portuguese (desirable)
Package:
- Salary £27,000 + dependant on experience
- Hybrid, West London
- Emergency WFH days
