    The role

    Deliveroo is hiring a Growth Marketing Analyst to join the Growth Marketing Team based in our HQ London office focussing on our new verticals, Grocery & Shopping. Reporting to the Head of Growth Marketing, this role is responsible for segmenting and targeting campaigns, analysing experiment performance as well as being the go-to person for understanding how Grocery and Shopping customers behave on Deliveroo, delivering insights that drive our marketing and promotional strategy across markets.

    We are seeking an experienced analyst who has a problem solving mindset, a strong skill set for data analysis and is naturally curious about customer behaviour. Whilst we are ideally looking for someone who has worked in Marketing or a related field this is not essential. The role offers significant opportunity to learn and deliver massive impact as part of a dynamic and fast growing team at Deliveroo.

    What you'll be doing

    The Growth Marketing Analyst is responsible for:

  • Designing marketing experiments alongside the marketing team and data scientists
  • Analysing the impact of marketing experiments on the business and on customer behaviour
  • Support marketing teams in driving campaign effectiveness through ongoing optimisation
  • Understand how customer behaviour is changing over time, converting gathered data into easily comprehensible insights and recommendations across the team and leadership
  • Collaborate with Data Scientists and Marketing teams to identify high impact marketing opportunities to deliver growth to Grocery & Shopping
  • Support marketing teams in creating and managing dashboard visualisation using Looker and g-sheets
  • Support Grocery & Shopping leadership team with key customer insights that drive our biggest strategic decisions
  • Continually improve all data processes within the Growth Marketing team
  • Requirements

    The ideal candidate is analytical, curious and eager to learn. You'll be able to think strategically to focus your analysis, quickly bring different data sets together before turning into actionable insights.

    You should also be:

  • Driven, hard-working and agile. 'New Verticals' (Grocery & Shopping) are growing rapidly, we are moving very fast so to scale at pace
  • Extremely analytical and have a passion for detail, marketing and data crunching
  • Resourceful, creative, and with a keen eye for leveraging data insights to help our Marketing teams make more insightful business decisions. You are detail-oriented and able to maintain a high level of accuracy across all aspects of your work
  • Able to create reports and dashboards in Looker to be used by Marketing and business stakeholders
  • Comfortable working with individuals at all levels. You must be a team player and able to galvanise support from colleagues across departments
  • Confident user of SQL and/or advanced user of excel and looker preferred but we can be flexible across the tools for the right candidate
  • Basic understanding of how statistical techniques can be used, hypothesis development and experimentation
