Installation Supervisor required.

Our client is a well-established manufacturer and installer of Stainless Steel Equipment based in the Nottingham area, with customers throughout the UK & overseas.

Due to ongoing growth, they are seeking an additional 'hands-on'Installation Supervisor with experience working with Stainless Steel Equipment to assist installation projects with managing sub-contractors and in-house installers whilst playing a hands-on role with the installations.


Installation Supervisor - Stainless Steel EquipmentPosition Overview

  • Attending sites to carry out installations of stainless steel equipment, including M&E services such as water, waste, electrics and ventilation.
  • Ensuring the RAMS documentation are followed on site
  • Confirming and receiving project requirements via handover packs
  • Instructing and coaching installation fitters and trainees
  • Ensuring installation are in line with quality and installation sign off documentation
  • Identifying and highlighting potential risks to projects
  • Attending site installation throughout the UK which includes some overnights stays with occasional overseas work
  • Understand the requirements and the timeframe and take responsibility for monitoring the overall progress

Installation Supervisor - Stainless Steel EquipmentPosition Requirements

  • Previous experience within the installation of stainless steel equipment or similar
  • Based in a commutable distance of Nottingham
  • Experience with plumbing, electrics and fabrication are highly desirable
  • Full UK Clean Driving License
  • CSCS card is desirable but not essential

Installation Supervisor - Stainless Steel EquipmentPosition Remuneration

  • Starting salary £28,000, with an increase to £30,000 after successful training and appropriate progression and skills within an agreed timeframe.
  • Discretionary annual bonus scheme
  • Monday to Friday, fulltime, permanent position. Shift bonus allowance is available for preauthorised extended working, weekend work, and/or working outside of UK.
  • Company credit card and mobile phone.
  • 20 days holidays (+ 8 bank holidays), (3 deducted for Christmas mandatory shutdown). +1 day holiday per 1 year of service, up to a maximum of 25 days total entitlement.
