Description
We are currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Compliance Officer to oversee the compliance processes within our healthcare organisation preferably with experience care management software.
This pivotal role ensures our staff remain compliant with industry regulations and standards, including the Care Act, NMC regulations, and all mandatory training requirements for the health and social care sector.
Key Responsibilities:
Compliance Oversight, Implement and manage the Care Management System to ensure all operational aspects are compliant with legal and regulatory frameworks.
Audit and Reporting:
Conduct weekly and monthly audits on Existing Personnel records to determine the necessity for:
Ensure full compliance of new starter files for nurses and healthcare assistants prior to their engagement.
Training and Development Identify training needs and coordinate with relevant departments to ensure all staff are up-to-date with required certifications and knowledge.
Collaboration and Communication:
Work closely with the recruitment team and SMT to align recruitment practices with compliance standards.
Provide Senior Management team with weekly & monthly report regarding staff file audits, including updates on completion and anticipated completion timelines.
Regulatory Guidance:
Serve as the key point of contact for all compliance-related inquiries and provide guidance on compliance matters to ensure adherence to the Care Act, NMC regulations, and other relevant standards.
