Support for Ordinary Living (SOL) is a non-profit organisation, who work for people with a variety of different support needs and disabilities to choose and create a life for themselves within their own homes and communities throughout Lanarkshire.

An exciting opportunity has become available for an Accounts Assistant position within the organisation. This is an office-based role which will be based in Wishaw, North Lanarkshire.


About the role


The Accounts Assistant is responsible for maintaining the organisation's general accounting function including bank, purchase ledger, sales ledger, and petty cash.

The post holder will work closely with the Head of Business Resource and Development, customers, and other members of the organisation to ensure that the accounting records are an accurate and true reflection of the organisation's financial affairs.

This ensures the smooth running of the organisation's finances which in turn ensure the organisation is able to operate effectively and provide a service to our customers.
